Lucy provides puts you at ease, and the interviews with her become quite a relaxed conversation. She has to be one of the go to people who knows who is doing what in Washtenaw County.
We chatted about my art books that will be at the Downtown Branch of the Ypsilanti Library (on Michigan Avenue) beginning September 30th, and she read a section from it. Dave and I mentioned the Festival of the Honey Bee which inspired me to include bees in my flower paintings, a movie being filmed locally where I got to sing and dance, and my classes at WCC.
But there is more! Art in Ypsilanti includes all the shows at the Riverside Arts Center (RAC) where I occasionally exhibit and act as a docent. I also enjoy watching plays there and have worked on a few theatre sets there, too. I have art in their gallery shop, to. Mea culpa, RAC.
